Infertility is a problem of global proportion. The World Health Organization estimates 60–80 million couples worldwide suffer from infertility while in our country 10-15 percent of couples are said to have infertility issues. While infertility can be caused by genetic predispositions, research has shown that dietary habits and stress levels could accentuate the problem. Moreover, persistent organic pollutants can affect both spermatogenesis and ovulation as well as induce changes in levels of reproductive hormones.

The conference aims to bring together scientists and experts involved in basic and clinical research in reproductive Sciences and will focus on overall management of reproductive diseases by diagnosis, prevention and treatments. This meeting will provide an opportunity to students and young investigators to interact with some of the best known experts engaged in reproductive disease research and will also provide them a platform to present their work in posters and short oral presentations.
